Director of Food

Max came to the attention of Food Show after working at a number of prominent restaurant kitchens and catering companies.

His restaurant experience was sustained in acclaimed London kitchen’s such as the original Conran, Bibendum in Kensington; the place to be seen in Chelsea, the Blue Bird; and one of London’s last remaining coffee houses, Troubadour on Old Brompton Road. He went on to work at a selection of London’s top catering companies, refining his skills at high profile events around the UK.

After joining Food Show’s team in 2008, Max became Head Chef the following year, cementing a passion for fresh, seasonal and sustainable produce, and rose the bar with his intricate knowledge of food and flavours.

Only a few years later in 2012, he took the position of Food Director, enabling him to oversee food strategies, operational and logistical food planning whilst consistently re-iterating the importance of his food philosophy.
