BBQ with a view!

It was a barmy summers evening for our Kings Cross based clients as we hosted their office Garden Party for 70 guests - just the most perfect location and weather!

It was a barmy summers evening for our Kings Cross based clients as we hosted their office Garden Party for 70 guests - just the most perfect location and weather!

Guests started arriving from 6.30pm, as the string quartet played a collection of chilled classics, welcomed by our bar staff serving Champagne.

Four different food stations presented a delicious selection of foods for guests to tempt them.

From the barbecue - Aberdeen Angus beef burgers, Suffolk chicken thigh burgers and leek & parmesan burgers all served on toasted brioche buns, onions, crisp lettuce and an array of chutneys, bacon jams, pickles and ketchup.

Sushi Bar - Californian maki, salmon nigiri, spicy tuna crunchy tempura roll, vegetable rolls and tamago served with wasabi, ginger and soy sauce.

Artisan Fayre - sausage rolls, caramelised onions & goats cheese quiche, cauliflower & mature cheddar quiche, Scotch eggs, Yorkshire cured ham, Borough baked breads, Cornish chorizo, shots of chilled tomato & basil soup, parmesan biscuit with aubergine pesto and grilled artichokes.

Best of British cheeses - Montgomery cheddar, Cornish Yarg, Milleens, Keen’s cheddar, Cashel Blue, Waterloo, Ribblesdale, Colston Basset stilton, Wigmore, Ticklemore, Tymsboro, Bartlett, Rosary Ash, Lanark Blue, Hereford Hop, Tornegus, Cornish camembert, Oxford Isis, Null of Kintyre, Ragstone goat’s cheese, Stinking Bishop and Somerset brie.  Served with wonderful artisan breads, black grapes, fresh and dried figs, celery, water biscuits, oat cakes and homemade chutneys.

Our traditional ice cream cart served a cooling variety of strawberries and cream ice-cream, indulgent chocolate ice-cream and velvety vanilla ice-cream all served with treat toppings of sprinkles, caramel, chocolate syrup, marshmallow, whipped cream, raspberries and blueberries.

Cocktails flowed as the sun was setting and a DJ played; it was actually hard to believe we were in Kings Cross!

We’d love to hear from you...
