News & UpdatesOn Saturday 7th of April, we had the pleasure of joining Chiswick House for their annual Wedding Showcase: an event dedicated to helping brides and grooms-to-be plan their perfect wedding day.
The beautiful Chiswick House looked simply stunning bathed in sunshine; inside guests were invited to view the rooms of the house all set for a wedding ceremony. We were both thrilled and fortunate to be given numerous rooms including the magnificent Green Velvet Room that was set up with an oval table for a picture perfect wedding breakfast. Simple yet elegant blush tones were chosen to compliment the charming floral arrangements provided by Pinstripes and Peonies, along with the beautifully delicate menu cards and place cards designed by Merrie and Bright, which lay perfectly upon the cotton napkins.
A variety of our delectable canapés were served to our guests, including our English breakfast cup; passion fruit cured salmon on rye; steak frites with béarnaise sauce; black pepper shortbread with herb rolled goats cheese and caramelised fig, and Food Show’s shrimp burger. Our canapé tree displayed fun afternoon tea treats of Valrhona chocolate and orange tartlets, and lemon meringue pie with confit lemons, which not only looked great, but were definitely well received.
Outside Chiswick House, the Burlington Marquee and the Conservatory hosted a variety of suppliers also guiding couples planning their wedding celebrations, from bridal fashion boutiques, photographers, floral designers to wedding stationery.
It was a delight meeting all the brides and grooms-to-be, and we hope we were able to give a taste/glimpse of what Food Show has to offer. Thank you to Pinstripes and Peonies, Merrie and Bright, and of course Chiswick House. We look forward to planning some spectacular weddings with you!
