News & UpdatesWe were thrilled to be asked to cater for the Banqueting House Showcase in early February. The event team at Banqueting House wanted to create an intimate, luxury dinner for 40 guests which included industry professionals, event planners, suppliers, and press.
Established in 1622, The Undercroft within Banqueting Hosue was a private drinking den for James I and his favourite courtiers. Four hundred later, and for one night only, The Den reopened as one of London's most exclusive private member's clubs. Guests experienced one of the most luxurious evenings thanks to a number of amazing suppliers.
As guests arrived at Banqueting House they were welcomed into the Main Hall for a drinks and canapés including our signature steak & frites with warm béarnaise; tuna tartare with tobiko, wasabi & crispy fish skin; wild mushroom & truffle arancini with parmesan snow; Foie Gras bonbons; Colchester crab salad with yuzu foam & squid ink wafer and tiger prawn sliders with sriracha mousseline.
The Main Hall looked stunning in delicate candlelight and pink & blue tones. Guests were treated to a magical Snow Globe performance curated by Prelude Entertainment, with a customised light show by Vibration Group. Guests were then escorted down to 'The Den' through opulent curtains - very private members style! One long mirrored table was placed in the centre of the room and was adorned with a stunning floral runner which cascaded down to the floor.
Inspired by 'banquets of the past' our Director of Food Max Uyanik, created a luxurious four-course banquet
Pottage of Thrones
Consommé of beef with winter vegetables, horseradish and sourdough wafer
Hanoverian King Lobster
Native blue lobster with orange, basil & watercress
The Glorious Pigeon in the Wood
Squab pigeon and wellington Foie Gras with pee pollen turnips

This was a truly spectacular dinner in one of London's most historic prestigious venues.
